Hi there!

Was involved with the set up of the last Points Event and it was a very good opportunity to see how much work goes into setting up the course and making sure that the day runs smoothly. The Vissershok site saw a good turn out with close to 40 vehicles participating for the day. A BIG thank you to all those guys who gave up their Saturday afternoon to help set up the course. Thank you also once again to the Committee members who toil with a smile!

Thank you also to Cathy Saunders from RevPrint who has helped me reformat the magazine to aid the printing process. Thanks also to Brian Van Zyl, Gurney Blackbeard and others for submitting articles for the mag!

The bad news is that my service kit to repair my TC didn’t work, more about that later…the good news is that I am off to Solihull in the UK in December to see the Holy Grail where my baby was built!!! The Committee has made me promise that should I represent them I will declare myself as a very junior committee member…oh well, win some, lose some!

Off to a wild olive farm in Tulbagh next weekend and to Baviaanskloof in September. Busy planning a big trip to Etosha for next June/ July…eish the joy of owning a Landy! Well done to Frans Jooste, a relative newcomer, for coming second in the Disco/ Rangie class at the recent Points Event!
