Hi there! Can you believe that another year is drawing to a close? What a year this has been! November and December will be a combined final mag for the year as I will be visiting Solihull early in December and hope to bring you a report back and a few pics. There is even a chance I will be meeting Camel Man in London for a beer! So the club is officially global! Jan and Feb mag will also be combined. Replaced my ABS Modulator for the second time and so far soooooo good! Can you believe it? Half way through Baviaanskloof as I write this and the fault codes are very quiet for a change. Yebo! The last Atlantis Day Run saw Gurney leading in his Disco 1 V8, me following in my Disco 2 Td5 and finally Brian Hogg following in his 110 Tdi. It was interesting to note how the V8 flew up the dunes and my Td5 had to work fairly hard to keep the pace, but what was very interesting to me was that the 110 also managed to stay right behind me, I have no doubt that while the Tdi is a very capable powertrain, the driver was also very experienced in getting the best out of his vehicle! Don’t forget the Xmas lunch planned at Langebaan! Best wishes from myself and the Committee for a very blessed Xmas and New year. Spend some quality time out there guys with your loved ones and your Landy. Take care out there. Go well on your journey. Enjoy your mag and enjoy your Landy! Disco and Defender on De Beers land on West Coast somewhere near Port Nolloth.
