I will be away overseas for most of December eying out all the serious off road hardware we don’t usually see. With this in mind the November and December mag has been combined. There will however be a mag in January.

This just leaves me to wish you season’s greetings for the festive period. May this time be an opportunity for you and your family to spend some quality time together with your Land Rover somewhere out there!

We say a sad goodbye to Peter van Wezel, our Treasurer, who has done a sterling job in the past. Peter is off to Sedgefield for his retirement and we wish him and his wife well. All will sorely miss his hearty guffaw.

Grant has kindly agreed to take over all the advertising queries, billing and planning in order to reduce my workload. Should you need any information regarding this please feel free to contact him directly.

The good news is that the Committee has offered to award a R500 cash prize to the author of the most well written article submitted to the Roving Reporter! The award will be presented at the next AGM, so get writing chaps! Remember this is your magazine, please contribute!
