Winter is back with a vengeance and it seems like only yesterday I suggested checking those glow plugs and batteries for optimum performance!

Busy planning a trip back into the Richtersveld. This would be my second venture back to this park, but this time round at least I am properly equipped in terms of a vehicle and equipment. This is a world heritage site and well worth a trip. I will be reporting back on the adventure, so those of you who have been wondering where to go…don’t discount the beauty of the Richtersveld.

A good mate of mine has a nephew who is only two and a half years old and he is absolutely Landy verskrik. So much so that he is able to recognize a baby Landy (90) and others. The only problem is that the Uncle and Grandfather both drive Japanese 4x4’s. As Jack says…”Naughty Nissan!”

This month sees some good articles on tyres , a letter from the Minister of Environmental Affairs and the summary of the Outings Questinaire. Please do not be disheartened if your submission is not printed yet…it will be!

Take care out there.
Go well on your journey.
Enjoy your mag and enjoy your Landy!

Editor plans trip to Richtersveld…see coming months for report back.
