Default Discovery 3 TDV6 owners

Hi , I have taken a used Disco 3 for a test drive, and boy was I impressed.

It drove through axle twisters and side ways through a ditch up a bank with ease.
And on the road so smooth.
There seems to be so many on the market at the moment.
Pse can you guys that owe them tell me whats the pro and cons of owning a Disco 3 TDV6.
Thx
Koos

Hi Koos

I have had my TDV6 S since 2007 and it has been quite simply the best vehicle that I have ever had the pleasure of owning. I have had the usual electronic park brake issue - this was sorted by LR and has been perfect since. Have done 106 000km without any major issues.

It is my daily transport as well as recreational vehicle and fits this dual role perfectly. I think this is what makes it such a great vehicle - perfectly comfortable and smooth on-road and very capable off-road.

So from my point of view - Go fo it!

100 000 kms well almost, in a few days it will be there. Family car in the week, loves the rough stuff on the off days, almost makes it to easy on the off road excursions. Tows a fair sized Caravan when required. Could not be happier. Go for it. Best car I have ever owned.

Lovely car you will not regret it mine now 152000 km and still smooth what an awsome vechile, just came back from namibia did just over 6000 km what a ride you dont want to get out off the car.mine i use every day and i prefer it to the nissan 350z.offroad this is a awsome vechile you need to take it offroad extreme and you will not believe your eyes, the only thing that i got against it is that it takes the real 4x4 out as the car do everything for you, they recon woman can drive this car better that the hardcore men,i do believe that.hope you will make the right decision and enjoy the disco.

Thx, guys .
I am in the market now, for S spec TDV6.
Can the Disco 3 be mantained by myself? This is important to me !!!!
Cant just be pro's , what frustrates you guys the most about your Disco 3?

I got to say , the ride is incredible smooth and its traction, unbelievable.

Koos,
